PINOCCHIO

(English Translation)

Up to the old doll hospital

Went poor Pinocchio badly injured

It was a cruel and bandid scarecrow

That surprised him and attacked him while asleep

He arrived with his nose in pieces

A leg broken in three parts

A delicate  internal injury

That the doctor on call had to attend

And an old surgeon was urgently called

And with his old science promptly patched him

But he said to the other interned dolls

All this is in vain he is missing his heart

The matter was that Pinocchio was grave

And could not regain his conciousness

The old surgeon didn’t know

Who to ask for to borrow a heart

This is when the protective fairy arrived

And seeing that Pinocchio was dying

Placed in him a fantasy heart

And Pinocchio smiling then woke up

Pinocchio, Pinocchio you came back to life with the heart
