Today I had a video shoot with the wonderful Melissa Dodd from here in Pittsburgh. It was pretty hot in here with the fans off and the windows closed but we made it through. I hope to work with Melissa again in the near future, she was an absolute delight.

We are live!
I started Meeks Mixed Media a little over a year ago, and what a year it has been. From animated music videos in Spanish to web sites selling pre-salted party cups it’s been quite a year.
I want to take this first blog post to say thank you to my clients for the quality jobs. In particular I’d like to thank steady clients like Doug from Atomsplit, Chris from Cmather.com, and Randy Henderson of Okie.net. You have helped make us profitable in our first year, a “pie in the sky” dream for any new company.
This year we do have plans to branch out into the children’s DVD and video podcast formats independently in addition to serving new clients and referalls. Also, look for a store featuring CDs, DVDs, Books, Posters, and T-Shirts from the Meeks Mixed Media Studio.

I called in to Twit Live last night to talk to Robert Llewellyn from Red Dwarf. Leo Laporte liked the company name, calling it “hard to pronounce, but memorable.” Pretty cool considering when I started getting into computers I watched him as the voice of Nev Dull on MSNBC’s The Site. Enjoy!
