It is extremely common for TV shows to get cancelled in the first couple of seasons. Lasting 4 seasons before getting canceled isn't such a bad run. It is only the very best shows that can manage to stay on longer than that. I'd say he's had a pretty steady career over the years, slowly amassing an audience and having a knack for porting that audience between mediums (radio => tv => internet). I wouldn’t consider any of his radio or TV ventures failures. It is extremely common for TV shows to get cancelled in the first couple of seasons.
